The regime of Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo declared on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, that Casa de los Tres Mundos, located in the heart of the tourist and colonial city of Granada and seized by the State in August 2024, will be designated as \u201cNational Cultural Heritage.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
Casa de los Tres Mundos, located on Plaza de los Leones in the historic city of Granada, was built in 1720 and is an architectural jewel more than 306 years old, the regime emphasized in a presidential decree.
The cultural building had been managed by the NGO Fundaci\u00f3n Casa de los Tres Mundos, which was outlawed by the Executive along with 1,499 other associations operating as nonprofit organizations on August 19, 2024, for alleged noncompliance with the law.<\/p>\n\n
Sources from the Granada City Hall told CONFIDENCIAL<\/strong> that an \u201cevent center,\u201d including a restaurant, will soon open at Casa de los Tres Mundos.
